Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued on March 26 by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:

Robert Koetzle, 18, of Milford, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 12 to 36 months to be followed by 12 months of Probation, ordered to pay a fine totaling $1,700 0 and had his license suspended for 1 year for the crimes of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy and Criminal Mischief. On Dec. 5, 2013, in Delaware Township, Koetzle delivered to an undercover informant 24 bags of heroin in exchange for $300. On Jan. 9, 2014, in Dingmans Township, Koetzle delivered to an undercover informant 20 packets of heroin in exchange for $240. Koetzle was also found guilty of intentionally damaging a vehicle.

Christian Turner, 19, of Hawley, PA was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, to be followed by 6 months of Probation, ordered to pay a fine totaling $1,300 and his license suspended for 1 year for the crimes of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. On Aug. 11, 2013 in Greene Township, Turner was found operating a vehicle under the influence of marijuana and in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Scott, 21, of Cresco, PA was sentenced to 1 year Probation and a fine totaling $500 and had his license suspended for 6 months for the crimes of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On Oct. 9, 2013, in Greene Township, Scott was found in possession of marijuana for personal use.

Danielle Fell, 25, of Stroudsburg, PA was sentenced to 48 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, a fine totaling $1,025 and had her license suspended for 1 year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and traffic violations. On June 21, 2013, Fell struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the Promised Land State Park and was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Vickie Arrington, 48, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced 2 to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and a fine totaling $200 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking. Between Oct. 22, 2013 and Nov. 16, 2013, in Westfall Township, Arrington took a total of $1,155.52 in gift cards and currency from a business.

Jeffrey Rose, 52, of Otisville, NY was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, a fine totaling $1,000 and had his license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Oct. 10, 2013, in Westfall Township Rose was found operating a vehicle under the influence of a combination of drugs which impaired his ability to safely operate the vehicle.

Utia Mendez, 23, of Albany, NY was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and ordered to pay a fine totaling $200 for the crime of Resisting Arrest. On Nov. 3, 2013, in Westfall Township, Mendez engaged in threatening behavior towards Eastern Pike Regional Police officers attempting to discharge their duties.

Bryant Finnegan, 21, of Newton, NJ was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and a fine totaling $200 for the crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On Dec. 28, 2013, in Milford, PA Finnegan was found in possession of a marijuana pipe and grinder.

Kane Curran, 19, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and a fine totaling $200 for the crime of Receiving Stolen Property. On Oct. 14, 2013, in Matamoras, PA Curran was found in possession of stolen property having a value in excess of $800.

Thursday, March 27:
Charles Swezy, 47, of Matamoras, PA was sentenced to 12 months of Probation and a fine totaling $500 for the crime of Theft by Unlawful Taking. On Dec. 28, 2012, in Pike County, Swezy charged $1,095.84 to his employer’s credit card without permission.

Ian Gardner, 22, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to 1 to 12 months in Pike County Jail followed 12 months of Probation, 6 months driver’s license suspension and a fine totaling $400 for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Receiving Stolen Property. On July 25, 2013, in Matamoras, PA Gardner was found in possession of 38 packets of heroin. On Aug. 26, 2013, Gardner was found in possession of stolen items having a value of $550.

James Read, 22, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 6 to 18 months in the Pike County Jail, fines totaling $800 and had his driving privileges suspended for 24 months for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended and other traffic violations. On Dec. 29, 2013, in Dingmans Township, Read was found driving on a suspended license, driving under the influence of a combination of drugs which impaired his ability to safely operate his vehicle, and in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana.

Jonnie Floyd, 52, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to 5 years of Probation and a fine totaling $500 for the crime of Terroristic Threats. On Oct. 27, 2013 in Dingmans Ferry, PA Floyd threatened his neighbor with violence.

Labinot Bajramaj, 28, of Matamoras, PA was sentenced to 1 year of Probation, a fine totaling $525 and had his driving privileges suspended for 1 year for the crimes of False Identification to Law Enforcement, Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia, Traffic Control Signals and Driving While Operating Privileges are Suspended and other traffic violations. On March 17, 2011, in Westfall Township, Bajramaj failed to stop for a red light. He provided the officers with false identification and was found to be in possession of a zip lock bag used for storing marijuana. His driver’s license was suspended.
