Pike County Arts and Crafts announces it's First Sunday Art Demo with Alyta Adams, presenting a collage making demonstration on June 1 at the Columns Museum in Milford at 1:30 p.m.

Alyta Adams, an ordained Interfaith Minister, holds a bachelors’ degree in Visual Arts and Graphic Design. She has found art to be a spiritual as well as creative journey. After working as a commercial artist in New York City for many years, Alyta began exploring her long-time passion for the art of collage with teachers including Penny Unbrico, Joan Hall, and most recently, Jonathan Talbot.

As she worked on her collage personality, she saw that collage is an art that is accessible for anyone, and lends itself to finding ones’ unique vision. To share collage with others, she developed a method that can be learned in an afternoon and used as a lifetime creative tool, "©Collage from the Heart."

Refreshments are provided by the members and the public is invited for free. PCAC is an award winning non profit community arts organization that is celebrating it's 65th year, providing art classes, exhibits and events that bring artists together and promote the arts in the community.

Columns Museum is located at 608 Broad St. in Milford, Pa. For more information visit www.pikecountyartsandcrafts.org.
