Meet, mingle, repeat
Dingmans Ferry. An all-vaxx crowd meets new friends, catches up with old ones at TriVersity’s “Meet and Mingle” at the Phoenix.
Laughter filled the air as people schmoozed, networked, met new friends and caught up with old ones at the Phoenix clothing store in Dingmans Ferry.
TriVersity sponsored Saturday’s “Meet and Mingle,” serving up hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, mixes, and juices.
TriVersity president Stephen Teague and vice-president Simone Kraus greeted guests in the side yard. The attendees, all vaccinated, enjoyed music provided by Dan Engvaldson, who sang and played guitar.
The Upper Delaware GLBT Center, best known simply as TriVersity — The Pride Center, serves the LGBTQ+ community and allies living or visiting the tristate region of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Attendees Hailey Clauss and Axios Styfic Burrows are planning their wedding. They also are putting together a new group called North Pocono Pride. Burrows said the LGBTQ community is surging in Honesdale and Hawley and eager to join the organization, formed four months ago to fill a need.
