Can you solve the ‘Museum Mysteries?’
Museum. Interactive fun happening at the museum Jan. 24.
On Friday, January 24 at 6 p.m. The Pike County Historical Society will be kicking off a new interactive program at the Columns Museum. Participants will face the challenge of answering questions related to the exhibits and history of the museum, completing three levels in the fastest time with correct answers.
“It’s like a scavenger hunt meets an escape room, then meets Trivial Pursuit and Clue,” said Columns Museum Director Lori Strelecki, and creator of the program.
The program begins in the museum’s Foundation Room, where players will receive a folder with clues to help solve historical riddles, interpret hints, and complete tasks on all three museum levels using maps, rhymes, riddles, research, and more.
Prizes will be awarded, and light refreshments will be available for purchase at the beginning and end of the program.
Teams can consist of one to four people. The cost is $25 per person. The Museum encourages participants to think of a cool team name and sign up. Call 570-296-8126 or email pikemuse@ptd.net.
