HAWLEY - Chefs from some of the finest lake region restaurants will be “uniting” to use their culinary talents to support the United Way of Pike County. Tickets are now available for Pike United Way ’s 2nd Annual Chefs United Benefit Dinner to be held Thursday, November 17th . The dinner will be hosted by The Waterfront at Ehrhardt’s on Lake Wallenpaupack, Route 507, Tafton, PA. The evening’s festivities include appetizers and cash bar from 6 to 7 p.m. and dinner beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $50.00 per person. Last year’s sold out event showcased 14 of the area’s finest restaurants. While supporting the United Way of Pike County, diners will enjoy appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts along with musical entertainment by Ray Weeks of the Dimmick Inn. This annual benefit dinner coincides with the Pike United Way ’s fundraising campaign. This year’s goal is $125,000 and the United Way hopes that this event will help them exceed this mark. Pike United Way helps support twenty local non-profit agency programs and other community initiatives. Sponsors say the event promises to be another terrific evening of food and fun.
