Conservancy to host communty welcome day
Nature. The Delaware Highlands Conservancy will host a Welcome Day and Open House in Beach Lake on May 14. Visitors can join the Conservancy to learn more about our mission and experience the 144-acre Van Scott Nature Reserve.

Delaware Highlands Conservancy is hosting a community Welcome Day and Open House at the Van Scott Nature Reserve in Beach Lake on May 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Visitors can join the Conservancy to learn more about our mission and experience the 144-acre Van Scott Nature Reserve, featuring more than three miles of publicly accessible walking trails through the forest and wildflower meadows with scenic views to the southern Catskill Mountains in New York State and to High Point State Park in New Jersey.
Guided walks, nature-focused activities and crafts, and light refreshments will be offered throughout the day.
Registration is not required; guests are welcome to drop in for the Open House anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
