Delaware Valley Choral Society
The Delaware Valley Choral Society's tenth anniversary Christmas concert will be held on its snow date, Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m., at Milford United Methodist Church, 206 East Ann Street. The program features the first major work performed in 2008 at the church – Cantata 140, “Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme” (Sleepers Awake) by Johann Sebastian Bach. Because it’s a special anniversary celebration, you’ll also hear favorite carols picked by the membership and will be treated to music performed by the Dingman Delaware Children’s Choir directed by Brian Krauss.
