The Pike County Historical Society is hosting another Dinner and a Creature Feature night on Wednesday, October 16. The movie this time around is “The Killer Shrews.” This 1959 classic tells the story of a group of scientists who have got themselves in a pickle as a result of their experiments with shrews. The group barricade themselves inside their compound every evening before the sun sets due to the creatures’ nocturnal feeding habits. They have not contacted the coast guard so that they can complete their research, predicting that the shrews will cannibalize each other once they have consumed all other food on the island.

Are they correct in their hypothesis? Find out on Wednesday October 16 at 5 p.m. in the Foundation Room of the Columns Museum

The cost is $35 per person and includes dinner, the movie, dessert, and coffee. Reservations are required. To reserve your spot, call 570-296-8126 or email pikemuse@ptd.net.
