Engvaldsen sings his songs and Feast of Friends sings the Doors at towpath event
Pike County Historical Society presents Tunes Along the Towpath 2 -Outdoor Concert at Glen Eyre Farms on June 18t (Rain date June 19)
Pike County Historical Society will host a day of music behind Canal House 16 in Glen Eyre, PA. on June 18. Music begins at 3:00 p.m. and gates open at 2 p.m. The music of local talent Dan Engvaldsen will launch the event, followed by the Hudson Valley’s Feast of Friends, performing music of The Doors and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own refreshments, coolers and a lawn chair.
The Talent
Dan Engvaldsen is a musician, composer and songwriter who has donated his time and talents to many local causes. He has performed at PCHS on more than one occasion. Dan’s album The Not So Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth is not only long in title, but long on talent, says PCHS Executive Director Lori Strelecki.
Feast of Friends is based out of New York’s Hudson Valley region. Formed in 2013, Feast of Friends brings the music of The Doors back to life. They perform classics and many deep cuts, plus their own original music FoF has performed at various clubs, theaters, casinos, festivals, corporate functions and parks around New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and California.
