Fine arts, crafts, and music at Stroudsburg Arts Festival

— Kick off the summer season at the Stroudsburg Arts Festival, a celebration of fine art, fine crafts and music.
The Pocono Arts Council will host the festival from 2-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at 7th Street and Courthouse Square, rain-or-shine.
This fun downtown arts festival has been reworked to replace the former “Art on Main” event that took place in May each year. Beginning at 2 p.m., visit 30 fine artists and fine craftsmen at their booths, where patrons can purchase handcrafted and original art in a variety of mediums.
This is a great opportunity to speak with the artists in person and get an inside perspective on an artist’s work. Artists will showcase their talents with live demonstrations in glass-blowing, oil painting, and acrylics painting, to name a few. Artistic mediums include acrylic, acrylic fluid pour, airbrush, beekeeping, clay/ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media, oil painting, painting on rocks, pen and ink, photography, sculpture, and woodworking.
2 to 7 p.m. — Live music and entertainment by local musicians and other performers on a center stage in Courthouse Square.
4 to 6 p.m. — The Pocono Arts Council will host an artists’ reception and awards ceremony for the Waterscapes Exhibition on display in the ARTSPACE Gallery from July 6 to 28.
6 to 8 p.m. — Origins Gallery at PoconoArts will host the Peep Show Exhibition with musician Doug Keatz performing live, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
6 to 8 p.m. — First Saturday ArtWalk happening at eight art galleries in downtown Stroudsburg, each open with exhibitions or special events.
After the Stroudsburg Arts Festival concludes at 7 p.m., patrons are encouraged to dine at one of the area restaurants.
