Good Shepherd Christmas tea on Dec. 7
Milford. The tea has been a tradition for more than 60 years.
A Christmas tea will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 5th & Catherine Streets, Milford.
It will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with last seating at 2:30 p.m. This has been a tradition for more than 60 years.
The parish hall is turned into a festive dining room. The meal consists of a selection of homemade soups, a three-tiered assortment of fruits, scones, finger sandwiches, cookies, and cakes. as well as assorted teas and coffee.
Tickets are $20 for adults. Children 10 and under get a snowman sandwich with cookie and milk or hot chocolate for $5. Tickets will be sold at the door. No reserved seating is available and parties will be seated when all are present.
The baked table will feature homemade Christmas cookies, breads and other sweet treats.
