After an incredibly successful run of Lunch & Learn lectures from January through March, the Grey Towers Heritage Association (GTHA) will be hosting another Lunch & Learn session on Saturday, April 6, from 11:30 to 2 p.m. This lecture, titled “Pinchot & Friends – Building America,” will feature Jared Simister, Grey Towers’ Interpretive Center director.
Simister will share fun facts and trivia about how the Pinchots and their friends influenced development in the U.S., including their involvement in the invention of traffic signs and scrimmage lines. Simister has worked for Grey Towers for at least seven years and holds a degree in history.
As with all Lunch & Learn events, the lecture will include a hot lunch prepared by GTHA volunteers. The cost is $13 for GTHA members and $18 for general admission. Due to limited seating, this lecture is limited to 45 participants. Sign up for the lecture at greytowers.org. Grey Towers is located at 151 Grey Towers Drive, Milford.
