MILFORD — The Highlands Photographic Guild is welcoming its newest member, Jennifer Clingenpeel. Clingenpeel relocated to the Hawley area from Las Cruces, N.M., where she studied photography at New Mexico State University. Her intriguing images of women have been inspired by such artists as Francesca Woodman and Cindy Sherman. She attempts to capture the beauty in everyday objects and often uses this idea as a backdrop for her photographs of women. Clingenpeel’s images as well as the work of nine other photographers can be seen at the Gallery at 224 Broad Street (Wachovia Bank Bldg.), Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information about the gallery and its members can be found at www.highlandsphotoguild.com or by calling 570-296-2440 during gallery hours.
