Jazz improv, then art opening at UpFront

Quintrepid Quintet will bring their jazzy improvisation to UpFront Exhibition Space’s Groove Port music series on July 16. They include Matt Lambiase on flugelhorn, guitarist and composer Jack DeSalvo, Chris Forbes on keyboard, Dmitri Ishenko on bass and Tom Cabrera on drums.
Then on Sunday, July 17, UpFront will hold a reception for their summer art show that includes a wide variety of local artists, from 1-6 p.m. Free
