Kindred Spirits Arts Programs is presenting two concerts in August. The Chamberlain Brass will perform “From Handel to Sousa” Sunday, August 11 at the Grey Towers Open Amphitheater at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.

This New York-based ensemble will play a selection of classics, musicals, and patriotic tunes. The audience is encouraged to bring folding chairs, blankets, umbrellas and picnics for this special event that is presented in cooperation with the Grey Towers Heritage Association.

“The Chamberlain Brass performed for us online three years ago and came in person to offer a school program at Delaware Valley High School where students were engaged with the group’s energy and repertoire. We are delighted to welcome them back to Milford and grateful for the support of the Grey Towers Heritage Association. The performance will be perfect for the audience of all ages,” said Yosef Feigelson, KSAP founder and artistic director.

On Saturday, August 17, classical guitarist Carolos Arturo Bedoya will join Kindred Spirits’ co-founder and world class cellist, Yosef Feigelson, in a program including music of J.S. Bach, Paganini, Milhaud, Assad, Albeniz and others. This concert will be held at the Grey Towers outdoor pavilion.

“I met the young, talented Carlos Bedoya at the Northern Lights Music Festival in Minnesota a few years ago and knew I wanted to bring him to Milford. I’m sure our listeners will be inspired by his selection of pieces and refined playing, and I look forward to performing a few works together,” said Feigelson.
