Milford. Kindred Spirits Arts Programs to host events throughout summer
The Kindred Spirits Arts Programs (KSAP) summer concerts are coming to Grey Towers National Historic Site throughout the season. All concerts will be held under an enclosed tent at the pool pavilion beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The summer line-up includes:
“Fortuna Antiqua et Ultra” on June 17 – Concordian Dawn, the noted New York-based early music ensemble, will be led by Christopher Preston Thompson and perform a variety of 12-15th century French song and music, including works of Phillippe de Vitry and Guillaume DuFay.
“Serenade” on July 15 - Young musicians of Balourdet String Quartet from Boston and will play quartets by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Hugo Wolf’s famed Italian Serenade.
“Ukrainian Romantics” on August 19 - Lviv-born, preeminent classical violinist Oleh Krysa will be joined by one his best students and cellist Yosif Feigelson in an array of classical works including a String Trio by 19th century composer, Mykola Lysenko.
“Stories in Jazz” on September 9 - The Roni Ben-Hur Quartet featuring singer Tamuz Nissim will offer a selection of American classics, international light jazz and original music.
The Grey Towers National Historic Site is located at 151 Grey Towers Drive (just off of U.S. 6).

KSAP is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers that brings performing artists to Northeast Pennsylvania. KSAP also arranges educational enrichment programs for area students.
