Opera! Pike! Park! back at Ann St. Park

,Live opera will again fill the air in Milford on August 28 in a free Opera! Pike! Park! concert on the Ann Street Park lawn in Milford Borough. Classic arias, Broadway tunes and other songs will be performed by singers from the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia from 4-6 p,m.
Opera! Pike! Park! is part of the Music in the Park series presented by Milford Borough’s Parks and Recreation Committee. The event is intended to appeal to all ages.

Park! is a lot of work by many dedicated volunteers, starting with our steering committee: Jim Pedranti, RosannKalish, Yana and Dale Thatcher and Lisa Winkler,” said Xavier Morales, the event’s founder and director. “By creating an official board, we expect to be able to sustain and grow OPP each year.”
Michael Zimmerman, who coordinates Music in the Park, said, “Opera Park Pike joins our summer concert series, which also includes events June 12, July 17, July 31, August 6, and September 25. Opera! Pike! Park! and our entire 2022 summer concert series, provide residents and visitors with music performances in the heart of Milford Borough, Ann Street Park.”

These concerts are free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Opera! Pike! Park! attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, snacks and beverages. Reservations via Eventbrite are required to receive a program. A limited number of seats in folding chairs are available under the tent.
