Pike County winners of state arts grants announced
Milford. The mission of the Pocono Arts Council, which administers the grants for the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts, is to build community artistically and culturally by providing leadership, service, and education.
The Pocono Arts Council has announced the 2019 Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Grants.

About Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts
The Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts is a partnership among local arts organizations and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency administered in the northeastern region by the Pocono Arts Council. It is available to non-profit organizations and artists conducting arts programming in the counties of Pike, Wayne, Monroe, Lackawanna, and Luzerne.
Since beginning the program in 1997, more than $2,225,627 has been granted in the five- county region. This year 36 PPA Project Stream applications received grants totaling $46,867. In addition, 25 PPA Program Stream grants will also be awarded $72,428 in early 2020.
