Port Jervis to hold Fall Foliage Festival

PORT JERVIS — Port Jervis will hold its annual Fall Foliage Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 (rain or shine), in the downtown area.
More than 130 vendors will bring a variety of wares. There will be street-fair and international foods, a classic car show ,and children’s activities, including the Roaming Railroad ride, petting zoo, and pony rides.
The fifth annual scarecrow contest will award ribbons in Youth, Adult, and Business/Club categories, with prizes for the first-place winners. It’s free to enter. Applications are online at portjervisny.org.
Live entertainment throughout the day features The Parting Glass, Tara Minstrels, Kevin McComb, Sisters Duet, Pushin’ Country Dancers, Nick Sauschuck and New York Retro Rockers.
