Readers Theatre actress in feature

MILFORD - Memory Contento who appeared locally in readings of “Charlotte’s Web,” “Dracula,” and “Christmas: 1933,” has just completed filming “Life In Flight” in the supporting role of Betsey. The film’s cast included Zac Orth, Patrick Wilson, Amy Smart, and Lynn Collins. Memory Contento trained with Jeffrey Stocker in his “On-Camera Cold Reading Technique” class at the Film Acting Studio in New York City. Stocker is a professional film and stage acting coach in the city, chairman of the Theatre/Drama committee of the National Arts Club, and is the founder and director of the American Readers Theatre, Pike County’s nonprofit performing arts organization promoting literacy through the art of dramatic readings. In Milford, his On-Camera Acting Sessions are held on Saturdays at the Biondo Community Room, 221 Broad Street, in downtown Milford.
