Santa Claus is coming to Port Jervis
Port Jervis. He will be making several stops throughout the city, with sweet treats for participants.
On Saturday, December 21, between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m., Santa Claus will be taking a break from his very busy Christmas preparations at the North Pole to be escorted through the streets of Por Jervis and make various stops to visit children in the community.
The “Santa Tour” will be conducted in partnership with members of the City of Port Jervis Police Department, PBA, Port Jervis Fire Department, and the Outdoor Club of Port Jervis, who will serve as honorary elves and escort Santa throughout the city.
During the event, Santa Claus will be escorted on a float to visit city neighborhoods and stop at host locations to take photos and provide hot chocolate and candy canes. Everyone is invited to join Santa in his visit by meeting him at the below listed locations during the tour, which will be hosted by local fire fighters.
Santa has prepared the following stops:
1:25 p.m. – Engine 5 Fire Station (143 West Main Street)
2:05 p.m. – Orange Street Fire Station (25-27 Orange Street)
2:45 p.m. – Engine 4 Fire Station (31 Owen Street)
3:15 p.m. – Barclay Street City Park (Tri State Engine 6)
4 p.m. – Promenade at Downtown Front Street (Engine 2)
In between stops, Santa will be escorted through the city’s wards playing Christmas music and bringing cheer.
