Thanks to the volunteers who made Black Bear possible

The Black Bear Film Festival hosted a party at The Phoenix in Dingman’s Ferry on Sunday to celebrate its volunteers from across the tristate region. Volunteers Deisi Weidenbaum, Cess Weintraub and Executive Director Will Voelkel are pictured enjoying conversation and good food. “We can’t do this annual festival without you,” Carol Needleman, 2016 board member and volunteer coordinator, told a group of more than 50 volunteers who helped themselves to wine, soft drinks and hors d’oeuvres prepared by Doug’s Kitchen. “You embody what community is all about, and we look forward to seeing you next year.” (Photo provided)
