— The Robbi Kumalo Ensemble will be playing at the Wild Things Ball event, sponsored by The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC).

Members of the Kumalo Ensemble have played back-up for Paul Simon, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin and Rod Stewart.

“This exciting ensemble guarantees everyone a wonderful evening of music and dancing," Gail Rosalsky, a member of the Event Committee, said. "We hope the entire community will turn out to celebrate with us.”

The evening will also include a small auction of unusual items: a week at an apartment in the heart of historic Amsterdam, a photo shoot by celebrated author and photographer Lisa Levart, a private cabaret performance by Milford’s own Ed Raarup and Scott Eck, accompanied by acclaimed Broadway pianist Michael Rice, and more.

“Wild Things” is a fundraiser for PEEC’s 21 century Sustainability Campaign. Details of the Sustainable Campus and other aspects of the Campaign will be unveiled at the event.

Tickets for the event are $125 per person and individual sponsorships, which include two tickets, are $500. Ticket purchases and donations can be made online at www.peec.org/about/wild-things-ball or by calling Janine at 570-828-2319.
