AP Capstone Diploma recipients celebrated at Delaware Valley High School
Milford. Four students who took certain Advanced Placement classes and earned scores of at least 3 were eligible for the honor, indicative of critical skill mastery.
Four students at Delaware Valley High School have earned the AP Capstone Diploma™ during the 2021-22 school year. The AP Capstone Diploma program helps students develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills that are critical for academic success.
To receive the AP Capstone Diploma, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and on four additional AP Exams. Students are increasingly participating in the AP Capstone program. Over 2,200 schools participated in the AP Capstone program worldwide during the 2021-22 school year, with approximately 14,100 students earning the AP Capstone Diploma.
“The opportunity to develop the skills necessary to engage in collegiate level research is very exciting for our students,” Dr. Nicole Cosentino, Delaware Valley High School Principal said.
