Four Delaware Valley students earned Capstone Diplomas
Milford. The Capstone Diploma requires scores in AP courses that indicate mastery of critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Four students at Delaware Valley High School earned the AP Capstone Diploma™ during the 2021-22 school year--Lily Williams, Victoria Corcoran, Andre Phillips, and Gabrielle Courtright. The AP Capstone Diploma program aims to help students develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills deemed critical for academic success. To receive the AP Capstone Diploma, students must earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and on four additional AP Exams.
Students are increasingly participating in the AP Capstone program. Over 2,200 schools participated in the AP Capstone program worldwide during the 2021-22 school year with approximately 14,100 students earning the AP Capstone Diploma. “The opportunity to develop the skills necessary to engage in collegiate level research is very exciting for our students,” said Dr. Nicole Cosentino, Delaware Valley High School Principal.
