GAIT gets $4000 grant for horse care
Milford. GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center received the grant from the Robert H. Spitz Foundation through the Scranton Area Community Foundation.
GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center recently received a grant for $4000 for veterinary, dental and farrier care, for the horses’ hooves, from the Robert H. Spitz Foundation. GAIT offers horsemanship, equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs with licensed professionals for people with cognitive, emotional, physical, and behavioral challenges.
The mission of the Scranton Area Community Foundation, which has served as administrator of the Robert H. Spitz Foundation since 2016,. is to enhance the quality of life for all people in Northeastern Pennsylvania through organized philanthropy.
