Kindred Spirits Arts Programs features a variety of entertainment this fall, including operatic masterpieces and vocal jazz. Below is a list of upcoming performances.

Soloists of Academy of Vocal Arts, Oct. 6
In this operatic extravaganza, soprano Emily Margevich and tenor Angel Gomez and pianist José Melendez offer highlights from beloved operas by Mozart, Verdi, Cilea, Dvorak, Smetana and art songs by other composers. They will also visit DVSD schools earlier in the day.

“We are delighted that opera will now come to Milford more than once a year. As the son of a Latvian opera tenor, I have a special affinity to this music genre. Bringing these singers to our schools will expose our students to highly skilled talent and may inspire their own futures,” said Yosef Feigelson, a founder and artistic director at Kindred Spirits.

Tickets are $25 and sold at the door or in advance on Eventbrite or the program’s website (kindredspiritsarts.org). The show begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 300 Broad St. in Milford.
