ShopRite donates $3800 to support Make-A-Wish
Matamoras. For the first time, Matamoras ShopRite joined the fundraiser to benefit Pike County Wish Kids.
ShopRite recently concluded its annual fundraising campaign to benefit multiple Make-A-Wish chapters: Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, Make-A-Wish® Hudson Valley and Make-A-Wish® New Jersey. Stores across Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey participated in the two-week fundraiser from April 16 to April 30 to create wishes for children with critical illnesses.
ShopRite Store #463 in Matamoras, Pa., participated in the fundraiser for the first time, raising money for Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Store #463 was one of 37 stores across the tri-state area and the first in Pennsylvania to fundraise for Make-A-Wish®. During the course of the fundraiser, ShopRite raised $3847.97 through a point-of-sale campaign and basket raffle. To date, ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. has raised more than $600,000 for wish kids and their families.
