Beverly W. Herold, 78

On Friday, February 14, 2025, our loving mother, grandmother, G.G., aunt, and friend, Beverly W. Herold, passed away at the Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ.

The daughter of the late Horace and Ida (Aman) Hunt, Beverly was born on October 27, 1946, in Paterson, NJ. She was married to James J. Herold who preceded her in death on January 8, 2020.

Prior to retirement, Beverly worked as a supervisor for Aeroflex Control Components in NJ.

She was an avid sewer and reader and enjoyed doing brain teasers like puzzles in her free time. On weekends, she loved to go to yard sales and tricky trays.

Beverly enjoyed cruises and camping with her family. She loved to host her family and took pride in preparing meals for them.

She was known for her beautiful smile and giving the best hugs. Her kindness and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. She was a true friend to all, giving 100% to anyone who needed her help. She made a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Beverly leaves behind her children, Sherri Szipocs and her husband Bill, Scott Herold and his wife Stefanie, Patricia Damour and her husband Jeff, Kathleen Hoffman, and James J. Herold Jr.; and 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and a large host of friends.

She loved being a G.G. She will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

Cremation was privately held at the convenience of the family.
