Donald C. Brink
Donald C. Brink of Milford, Pa., died away on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Gino J. Merli Veteran Center, Scranton, Pa. He was 88.
Son of the late Benjamin and Pearl (Brown) Brink, he was born on May 19, 1927, in Lake Ariel, Pa. He was married to the late Joan (Kuhn) Brink, who predeceased him on July 19, 2005.
With his wife he owned and operated Donald Brink Excavation of Milford for 30 years. He served two terms on Pike County Board of Commissioners, was a member of the Dingman Township Planning Commission for many years, and was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his four children, Judith McCarthy of East Berne, N.Y., Dennis L. Brink of Milford, Kurt E. Brink of Milford, and Jo-Anne Orehosky of West Islip, N.Y.; sister, Katherine Swinger of Lake Ariel; six grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
Final interment will be in the Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, with Military Honors at the convenience of the family.
The family requests memorial donations be given to any worthy veterans' cause.
