Dr. Lauren Clare Alex

Dr. Lauren Clare Alex of Milford, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 66 years old.

She was born April 6, 1955 in Rockville Centre, N.Y., the daughter of the late Edward C. and the late Josephine Jankowski Alex.

Lauren graduated from Gregorio Araneta University in 1982 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Lauren was a very kind and caring soul. She healed many animals over the years and never turned down raising a baby squirrel.

She enjoyed gardening and tending to her wildflower garden. Lauren also loved going on hikes or long walks on Cape Cod beaches, especially with her dog. Afterwards, she could be found enjoying a cold beer with friends or family.

Lauren is a special woman who will forever be loved and missed by many. Surviving are her two beloved daughters, Emily Klag and her fiancé Brendan Remetta, and Karilyn Klag; and the father of her children, Richard Klag.

Family and friends gathered for visitation and funeral services at Gray-Parker Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 20.
