On May 20, 2023 we lost our precious boy, Jacob Charles Tressler Rodriguez. He left behind heartbroken parents and a large extended family.
Born in Middletown NY, he was from Matamoras, PA. He was 30 years old and a floor installer by trade but had a passion for crystals. Jacob was a friend to everyone, and he was a champion for the less fortunate, but Jake had his demons that just wouldn’t leave him alone. He also lost his brother in 2021 and never recovered from that loss. Our only comfort is that they are together again and he is no longer in pain.
Jake was passionate about his music (The Grateful Dead) and would play his guitar constantly, he taught himself and was very proud of that. He always loved Weird Al Yankovich and knew every song by heart.
Jake leaves behind his parents Alex and Kelly; siblings, Annett (Noel) Espinosa, Alex Rodriguez, and Margarita Rodriguez (Anthony); beloved aunts, Terri Torchio (Chris), Robin White (Mike), and Margarita Rodriguez; uncles Billy (Barbara), Keith, Drake, Jorge (Lorraine), and Domingo; his cousins Amanda, Michael, Jaime, Billy, Samantha, Nicholas, Jeremy, Christy and Melissa, Anthony, JR, Alexis, Antonio Noel, Celina, Perla and Gabriel. He also leaves behind his best friend, Sugar, who he never went anywhere without. He is also survived by his precious Nana, Janice Archambault.
Jake was an old soul who always trusted and befriended everyone, which ultimately was his downfall. He will be missed terribly, more than we can even imagine.
Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral home, 405 W Harford St, Milford, PA (stroyanfuneralhome.com/) who were very compassionate during this difficult time.
