Leanna Walker

Leanna Walker, 17, of Milford, Pa., left this Earth between April 18 and April 22, 2016. Her remains were discovered on May 15, 2016.
The daughter of Glenn Earle and Diane Walker, she was born on Jan. 8, 1999, in Denville, N.J.
Leanna was a student at Delaware Valley High School. She was enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program. Leanna loved children and considered working with developmentally disabled children in a daycare setting.
Leanna was a social butterfly. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews, in person and on social media. Leanna cared about people. She was a good listener and often gave advice to family and friends. Leanna liked helping others. She had a heart of gold.
Survivors include her father, Glenn Earle, of Succasunna, N.J.; her mother, Diane Walker, of Milford, Pa.; two sisters, Diane Bostedo of Aurora, Maine, and Lydia Rodriguez of Dingman's Ferry, Pa.; one brother, Dylan, at home; three nieces, Lylah, Azalea, and Leela; two nephews, Landyn and Jeffrey; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Leanna's life will be held at the Milford Bible Church in Milford, Pa., on July 23, 2016. Visitation is at 1 p.m., with a prayer service beginning at 2 p.m. We ask that those who will be attending dress colorfully, as Leanna would want it that way.
