Mandee Lynn King

Mandee Lynn King died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at her home in Dingmans Ferry. She was 27.

Daughter of Sherry Bennett King and the late David King Sr., she was born July 15, 1987, in Middletown.

She was born smiling, and never stopped her entire life. In her final days she was more concerned about her family than herself. She especially wanted her mother to know how much she loved her, and appreciated the devotion her mom gave her the past year.

Survivors include her mother, Sherry, and her step-father, Paul Quick, at home; brothers, David King Jr. and Jason King and his partner, Ashley Sherwood, all of Dingmans; paternal grandfather, Ronald Bennett Jr. of Howells, N.Y.; step-grandparents, Everett and June Quick of Port Jervis; nieces and nephews, Kristina, Katelyn, Kelsey, Jason Jr., and Sawyer; aunts, Sue Bennett Perkowski of Matamoras and Kelly Bennett of Middletown; uncle, Ronald Bennett III of Middletown; and many cousins.

Visitation was held at the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home in Middletown on Feb. 21, followed by a time for sharing and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions being made to Sherry King c/o Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY 10940 to assist with funeral expenses.
