Born Marion Joyce to John and Julia Powell in Staten Island, NY on April 11, 1932, Marion Joyce Powell Austin entered into Heaven on December 20, 2022 at her home in Shohola, PA. United in marriage with the late David Lawrence Austin, together having five beautiful children: David, Christopher, Seann, Elizabeth, and Alice.
Among many talented jobs she was a dispatcher for a car hauling company in Elizabeth, NJ, an administrative Director for Zim Shipping Line in the World Trade Center until September 2001, and retired as Ms. Marion at the Milford Hill Day Care, Milford, PA, where she enjoyed cooking for the children and watching them grow.
She enjoyed many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially Erica, Joanne, Christopher Jr, Danielle and Philip and great-grandchildren, Lily, Austin and Julianna. Marion was welcomed into Heaven by her granddaughter, Christine.
Services and cremation were private.
