Nell M. Pennings

Nell M. Pennings of Milford, Pa., formerly of Warwick, N.Y., died on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

She was born in the Netherlands in 1931. She immigrated in 1953 to the United States, where she met and later married Jacob M. Pennings, a dairy farmer.

Nell enjoyed quilting, baking, gardening and the company of family and friends.

Survivors include Jacob, her husband of 57 years; two sisters, Johanna and Cornelia of the Netherlands; four children, Monique McCutcheon and her husband, Dennis, of Gardiner, N.Y., Paul Pennings and his wife, Denise, of Greenville, N.Y., Yvonne Merrill and her husband, Everett, of Milford, Pa., and Bruce Pennings; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on June 22. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, on June 23 with the Rev. Gregory Kelly officiating. Burial took place in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
