Olive A. McCollum, 72, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was retired from the kitchen staff at Slate Belt Rehabilitation, Pen Argyl, Pa., and an active member of the Living Christ Chapel, Milford, Pa.
The daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret (Cooper) Shipps Sr., she was born September 14, 1952, in Blairstown, NJ. She was married to the late Wallace McCollum on July 30, 2005, in Bangor, Pa.
Olive leaves behind to cherish her memories, four brothers, Lester Shipps and his wife Carol, Clifford Shipps and his wife Virginia, Howard Shipps and his wife Lauribel, Steven Shipps; sister Marylou Woolf and her husband Jim; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Ella and Maria and brother Edward.
Graveside services: Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry, with Rev. Shawn Coleman officiating.
