Patrick V. Maloney

Patrick V. Maloney of Dingmans Ferry died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. He was 89.

He was a retired federal employee for the Department of Defense, Albany; and a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Son of the late John and Anna (McMinnon) Maloney, he was born on March 26, 1926, in New York, N.Y. He was married to the late Lavenia Joan Nelson Maloney.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberlie Stieb and her husband, Anthony, of Dingmans Ferry, and Lavenia Maloney of Brooklyn; sister, Ann Skye of Long Island; brother, James Maloney of Brooklyn; three grandchildren, Amanda Stieb, Rebecca Stieb, and Courtney Brockmeyer; and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jayson Yared.

Patrick was predeceased by his son, Brian Maloney.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on April 24. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, will be private at the convenience of the family.
