Paul Martin Sigismondo, 74, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at his home in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Paul was known to tinker with cars and motorcycles, an interest later picked up by his boys. After his school years in Brooklyn, he served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Constellation, paving the way for a career in telecommunications.
He married Rose Marie (Davi), and soon moved from Brooklyn, New York to Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania in order to begin raising their growing family. He worked diligently to provide the best life for his children, and instilled those values of work ethic and dedication in them.
Paul enjoyed boating and fishing, often spending many weekends out on the lake. He was often found to be the one driving, so that everyone else could enjoy the ride.
The son of the late Anthony and Carmella (Turturro) Sigismondo, Italian Americans, he was born on November 11, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York. He was their first child.
Paul leaves behind his loving wife, Rose Marie Sigismondo; children, Anthony Sigismondo and his wife Jackie, Joseph Sigismondo and his wife Adela and Lori Sigismondo and partner Alex; grandchildren, Elisa Sigismondo, Luca Sigismondo, Gioia Sigismondo and Zoe Sigismondo; brothers, Angelo Sigismondo and his wife Debbie, Vincent Sigismondo and his wife Shari and John Sigismondo and his wife Iris, as well as many loving extended family members,
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 101 Saint Vincent Dr, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 with Rev. John B. Boyle officiating.
