Rosalind V. Watson

    Rosalind V. Watson of Milford, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on the evening of Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. She was 64.
    Daughter of James and Gladys (Creamer) Donahue, she was born on Dec. 29, 1953, the youngest of their three daughters, in Lynn, Mass. She was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. She spent her immediate post college years traveling the country, spending time living in Colorado and Florida before settling down in Pennsylvania to start her family.
    Both prior to and following the raising of her four children, she spent her professional career teaching and helping children with disabilities, most recently for The Aaron Center based in Dickson City, Pa.
    She loved her music, the performing arts, and was always reading to challenge herself and learn something new.
    Rosalind leaves behind her daughter, Heather Simmons; sons, Graham, Adam, and James Watson; son-in-law, Mike Simmons; and grandchildren, Emma, Michael and Norah Simmons.
    Services and cremation were private at the discretion of the family. Arrangements were made by Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford, Pa.
