Ross W. Hoffman of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., died on Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Dingmans Ferry. He was 54.
Son of Ross C. and Norma J. (Vannucci) Hoffman, he was born Sept. 17, 1961, in Pittsburgh.
He was an avid outdoorsman and handyman. He loved his children and family above all else. He was known for his generosity and his big heart. He was a truck driver for LP Cylinder Service in Shohola, Pa. He was looking forward to traveling and experiencing the simple things in life. He was taken too soon.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Hoffman of Tempe, Ariz., and Haley Hoffman of Dingmans Ferry; son, Thomas Cote of Albany, N.Y.; parents, Ross and Norma Hoffman of Slippery Rock, Pa.; two sisters, Michelle Hoffman of Ceiba, Puerto Rico, and Linda Hoffman of Pittsburgh.
Visitation and a memorial service were held July 20 at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford. A memorial service was held at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Pa., on July 23.
