William Fleming, 95, of Milford, Pa., passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The son of the late Harry and Theresa (McGregor) Fleming, he was born on November 12, 1928, in Summit, NJ. He was married to Bertha E. (Geiger) Fleming, in 1950.

Bill retired from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, as a toll sargent and the Pike County Court House as a tipstaff. He served on the board of the Community House, was a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society and a devoted parishioner of the St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, Pa. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Left to cherish William’s memory are his two daughters, Deborah Cortright and her husband Ken of Milford, Pa., and Joanne O’Brien of Heber City, Utah; four grandchildren, Sean O’Brien and his wife Allison of Myersville, Md., Caitlin Cheale and her husband Andy of Bracknell, UK, Michael O’Brien of Park City, Utah, and Kevin O’Brien and his wife Katie of Park City, Utah; four great-grandchild, Aiden, Dylan, Addison Rose Cheale, and Aisling O’Brien. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Bertha and his son-in-law John O’Brien.

Mass of Christian burial: Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the St. Patrick’s Church, 200 E High Street, Milford, Pa., with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating.

Burial: Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa., with military honors.
