C.A.P.E.S. education business opens in Hawley
Hawley. The new business offers education and tutoring services for kids.
The Small Business Development Center at the University of Scranton along with Hawley Mayor John Nichols and the Chamber of the Northern Poconos welcomed C.A.P.E.S. (Carly Allen Personalized Education Services, LLC) to the Hawley business community last week. Patrick Keehan, business consultant, joined the official ribbon cutting during an Open House Friday, October 11.
The company provides individual and group education and tutoring services for children in preschool through high school, including a “nature schooling” program. According to the company’s ribbon cutting announcement, they relocated from Honesdale to Hawley this past summer and the move has proven to be a great decision. “The community and outdoor areas to learn and explore are wonderful and we’re all thriving, the students and instructors,” said owner Carly Runco.
The center is at 405 Church Street in Hawley and welcomes students from throughout the area, including those who attend public, private, and cyber school as well as home school students.
