Dates announced for Dharma Chakra Yoga School sessions
Milford. A 200-hour training course will take place this September.
Dharma Chakra Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance-registered school offering 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings, recently announced that it will be starting its new year of yoga teacher training in September 2024.
According to the school, the yoga teacher training program includes pranayama, meditation, mantras, mudras, yogic philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methods. The school boasts a carefully curated curriculum with intensive modules, printed materials, and workshops to help prospective yoga instructors gain a better understanding of the various aspects of yoga.
Eileen Rachelson, reiki master and director of Dharma Chakra’s yoga teacher training said, “We wish to offer trainings for yoga teachers so they may ‘fill their cup’ and develop themselves to become extraordinary teachers.”
The next 200-hour yoga teacher trainings will include three modules each meeting three weekends over the course of three consecutive months. The course also includes various presentations, workshops, a trip to Himalayan Institute, and a graduation. The tuition cost ranges from $3,000 to $2,550 (the later price is for those who sign up with an early bird nonrefundable deposit by August 15, 2024).
“Our aim is to develop caring, confident, and competent yoga teachers. Our guidance does not end at graduation, our instructors remain available as mentors and friends,” said Patricia Kroll, assistant lead YTT trainer.
The school also provides an option for a “further study program” for certified yoga teachers or a deeper dive for those seeking an immersion in yoga. The 300-hour teacher training will be announced at a later date.
Dharma Chakra Yoga School takes place at Jen Murphy Fitness, 113 West Harford Street, Milford. For more information, call 917-686-6849, email Eileen@dharmachakrayoga.com, or visit dharmachakrayoga.com.
