Get Flexy Fitness Studio gets upgrade
Honesdale. The yoga and fitness studio moved from Honesdale’s Main Street to 525 Church Street.

Get Flexy Fitness Studio is stretching out to a new and improved space. After two years on Main Street in Honesdale, Get Flexy is relocating to 525 Church Street, inside the historic brick warehouse turned co-operative space, 6th & River.
Owner Stacy Brown said the move will allow her to expand her offerings. “We plan to add new programs such as our new strength training classes, TRX, bungees and aerial silks, and create a lounge space for class attendees.”
Brown said that this is the space she has always dreamed about. “We look forward to providing beautiful experiences whether you are taking a yoga class, receiving stretch therapy, or personal training with our talented team of instructors and state of the art equipment. My goal is to help not only create a business that can meet the needs of the health and wellness of our clients, but also be an integral part of the growth of our community in a healthier direction.”
In the summer, Brown organizes free Yoga in The Park in Honesdale’s Central Park and the new space will also give her a rain venue.
Brown holds a special connection to this area. She grew up in Honesdale, delivering milk before school with her grandfather and spent many summers creating ice cream cones at her family’s business, Sandercock’s Dairy, located just outside Honesdale. She eventually moved to the Philadelphia area where she cultivated her career in the fitness industry. After nearly four decades in the industry, she felt the need to return to her hometown. In 2021, she opened Get Flexy Yoga & Fascial Stretch Therapy.
Brown added, “Our approach when we first started was to offer what I saw missing in our community. As the business grew, I saw a need to add strength training and more fitness classes to reach a wider audience in Wayne County. Having a strong and adaptable physical body is one part of the equation at Get Flexy, the other part of the recipe is having your emotional, mental and spiritual body just as in shape.” This is what inspired Brown to rename her studio to Get Flexy Fitness Studio: Strength, Stretch & Soul.
“I want to provide not only the exercise component to our county, but also help teach people the importance of eating healthy and farm fresh foods.”
