Keller Williams Milford closes doors to open hearts on Red Day
Milford. On May 9, the real estate company will help to spruce up a home for those facing housing insecurity.
On Thursday, May 9, Keller Williams Milford, at 205 E. Harford Street, will be closing its office for the day, not to halt operations, but to amplify its commitment to the community through the business’s annual Red Day event.
“As believers in the power of giving back, we understand that sometimes the most profound impact we can make is by stepping away from our daily routines to lend a helping hand,” a spokesperson for the company explained. “Red Day isn’t just a date on the calendar for us — it’s a tradition that embodies our core values of Renewal, Energizing, and Donating.”
Since its inception in 2009, Red Day has served as a way to rally Keller Williams associates from across the globe to come together and make a difference in the communities they serve.
For this year’s Red Day event, Keller Williams Milford will turn its focus toward Family Promise, an organization dedicated to providing transitional housing for families in need. Family Promise is currently working to transform 203 E. Harford Street into a place for those facing housing insecurity. Keller Williams Milford will be supporting their mission on May 9 by working to spruce up the exterior with planting and landscaping, while also pitching in to clean and prepare the interior for future occupants.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Stephanie Connelly with Tri State Estate Specialist for her generous support in providing lunch for our volunteers as well as a few helping hands during the event. Her dedication to both our community and this event exemplifies the spirit of Red Day,” the real estate firm added. “So, as we prepare to don our red shirts and head out into the community, let us also take a moment to realize the impact of coming together in service. Together, we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.”
