Dr. Jordan Hartey PT, DPT has joined Hartey Chiropractic in offering physical therapy services.
Hartey started on her path to becoming a physical therapist at the University of Delaware where she received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. After graduation, she began working as a fitness instructor/personal training while receiving a master’s degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Scranton.
Hartey has over seven years of experience working as a physical therapist in the tri-state area, specializing in outpatient orthopedics. She holds a direct access license, which allows her to treat patients without a physician’s referral.
She has specialty certifications in Graston technique (a form of manual therapy known as soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization) and LSVT Big therapy - a program designed to improve gross motor movement, balance and gait.
The Hartey Chiropractic mission is to address and eliminate the cause of the injury in order to maximize functional mobility. The philosophy is proper structure is necessary for proper function and what better way to achieve this than offering patients the opportunity to receive both chiropractic and physical therapy services simultaneously.
