Middle school honors social studies teacher Jennifer Shiner

The Dingman-Delaware Middle School recognized one of its social studies teachers, Mrs. Jennifer Shiner, for the month of November.
"Mrs. Shiner has been a teacher at DDMS for 9 years but came to our building with a wealth of knowledge from previous teaching positions," said the announcement of her honor. "She is a dedicated educator who prides herself in helping and encouraging students to do their best. She is famous for the 'Shiner Method,' in which students learn how to properly study and prepare for class and assessments daily.
"On many occasions Mrs. Shiner will lend a helping hand to volunteer her time to help with after school functions like the Senior Citizen Dinner as well as collaborating with fellow teachers and administrators.
"The Dingman-Delaware Middle School would like to thank Mrs. Shiner for all she does throughout the school year for our students."
