Pike County Chamber inducts new directors, installs new officers
Matamoras. Chamber prepares to deliver value to its members through new ideas and updated technology.
The Pike County Chamber of Commerce held its annual installation dinner and general membership meeting at the Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing in Matamoras on Jan. 28.
"The venue’s general manager and newly installed board director Ryan Saunders and his support staff provided for a wonderful evening and the food was fabulous," says the chamber in a press release. "The ceremony to induct new directors and install a new group of executive officers for 2020 was met with an enormous amount of positive energy and generous sponsors even brought their families which included some future chamber leaders to help celebrate and support the growing organization."
The evening's sponsors included Dime Bank, Wayne Memorial Hospital, Paul M. Brislin, E.A., ConnexiCore, Turano Insurance & Financial LLC, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Wayne Bank, and Saint Therese Classical Academy.
Several members and sponsors gave talks, which included a history of all chambers of commerce.
“A chamber of commerce is truly a form of business network -- a local organization of businesses whose goal is to further the interests of businesses,” said the newly appointed president, Frank Segarra. “We are excited to be partnering with numerous legacy and new chamber members to reinforce our key objectives as an organization.”
Segarra discussed the chamber’s goals for 2020 that will provide value to members and to the business community.
