State Senator Lisa Baker and State Representative Jeff Olsommer recently issued citations to the Teeter family for maintaining two community-driven businesses that serve the people of Wayne and Pike counties. Julie Teeter-Seiler and Dick Teeter accepted the citations on behalf of their two businesses: Teeters’ Furniture (327 Main Ave., Hawley) and Teeters’ Funeral Chapel (505 Church St., Hawley).
The businesses were established by cabinetmaker Richard Adam Teeter back in 1849.
